ICOGroup Works with Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training on the ICO Vocational College Project

On the afternoon of October 29, 2025, in Quang Ninh Province, ICOGroup had an official working session with the Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training to discuss directions for cooperation and the implementation of the ICO Vocational College project in the province. This meeting followed ICOGroup’s formal proposal requesting the Department’s consideration and support for the project — one of the Group’s key strategic initiatives in the field of vocational education and training.

The working session took place in an open, cooperative, and constructive atmosphere, with the participation of leaders from the Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training and a high-level delegation from ICOGroup, led by Mr. Nguyễn Quang Tuấn, Chairman and CEO of the Group.

During the meeting, representatives from ICOGroup presented the development orientation for the ICO Vocational College system (ICOCollege) — a demand-driven vocational training model that closely connects schools, enterprises, and the labor market. The model focuses on practice-oriented training, ensuring that graduates possess strong professional skills, foreign language proficiency, and employability to meet the needs of both domestic and international businesses.

The Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training highly appreciated ICOGroup’s strategic vision, practical implementation capacity, and extensive international cooperation experience in the field of education and training. Both parties also discussed and clarified key issues related to the provincial vocational education network planning, as well as coordination mechanisms to accelerate the preparation of project documentation and investment proposal procedures.

The meeting marked a positive step toward collaboration between ICOGroup and the Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training in researching and proposing the establishment of the ICO Vocational College in Quang Ninh. The initiative aims to contribute to the realization of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthrough development in education and training, particularly in vocational training aligned with social demand and global integration.

Once implemented, the project is expected to create a new milestone in vocational training in Quang Ninh, accompanying the province in its strategy to develop a high-quality human resource base that meets the demands of the labor market in the era of digital transformation and international integration.
